Attorney Ethics in Question

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA

I had a contract (Lease Purchase) with 2 individuals, both of whom were co-signers on a lease purchase agreement. Long story short - the home was destroyed, they stopped paying rent and Tenant 1 skipped town.

I attempted to work our a payment plan, etc... with Tenant #2 to pay some or all of the money due. He also skipped out and I filed a suit in appropriate court in GA.

I received a call from an attorney CLEARLY stating she was representing Tenant 1 and wanted to try to work out an agreement to pay some/all of debt. The attorney didn't reference the law suit against Tenant #2. She requested copies of the lease agreement, etc...

I just found out that she is in fact the attorney for Tenant #2 and NOT Tenant #1. This representation was wrong and I believe unethical (it was a LIE). I have no interest is suing anyone and when she said she represented Tenant 1 who wanted to make good on his debt, I probably disclosed 'too' much information as I trusted this attny at their work.

She has not filed appropriate responses on behalf of Tenant #2 in the courts. Do I have any recourse against her ethics and misrepresentation? This seems to be a tactic that a Private Investigator would use...but an attorney representing the defendant???

Any help would be appreciated.

Unless you can prove some way that you have been harmed, forget about this and move on with your proceedings.
