Broken ConfidenceWhat is the name of your state? ca We hired an attny to do mediation. I had met with her on a free consultation first, and when we decided to use her for mediation I asked her not to tell my husband that we had met. Of course she did. My husband paid her the mediation fee, and since then we have been billed for services not yet complete, and I have been calling for 6 weeks to make our final appt with her and can't get an appt or even a returned call. Can I get our money back for the things she has not yet completed since I am having no luck getting ahold of her and that she broke confidence? Thank you |

| Report the lawyer to your state bar association's disciplinary committee.

| The attorney had to disclose that she met with you before she was retained as a mediator for both you and your husband or she could have gotten in trouble. She had to have any possible conflicts waived.
