Can an attorney do this? What is the name of your state? Missouri I have an attorney representing me for a work comp case. There is a guy that wants to sue me so this attorney took him as a client. Can he represent this guy while he is my attorney for something else. Shouldn't this be a conflict of interest? Thanks in advanced |

| As you describe it, that sounds like a clear conflict. Is this other client actually suing you? I don't see how the lawyer can represent you in one case and simultaneously take a case against you. What did the lawyer say when you asked him about this? |
