What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Texas - my son was recently arrested for failure to appear to court. The bail bonding company came off his bond and charged him another $400. Because the original bond was forfeited, the court issued a $2,000 cash bond. All this was because his attorney never appeared at court after telling my son not to worry, she would handle everything. The charge is a misdemeanor and he was told there was no reason for him to be there. What are his options? Should he be able to get his $ back??What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
