Is this conflict of interest? What is the name of your state? Texas Can an attorney who is currently representing - for over 2 months - my brother in law in a divorce case also be retained by my ex-husband - less than a week - in an ongoing civil case concerning child custody? I just discovered this today, and am not sure if it is a conflict of interest, or not. |

| Where would the conflict be? I'm assuming the brother-in-law would be your ex's brother? That's a separate divorce involving separate people. |
