Court Dates

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee
We have a court date set for Motion to Clarify a Child Support Modification order. The amount was incorrectly calcualted by the ex's attorney and the judge accepted the number without checking and well as I. The exes attorney says they can't make the court date the clerk set. Do we have to change to another date. She wants to stretch it out for 30 days more?
