INDIANAWhat is the name of your state? Indiana
In Porter County in the state of Indiana in a criminal felony case, is it proper for the prosecution to present 2 summations and the defense only 1 summation to the jury. The prosecution gave closing statements to the jury, then the defense gave closing statements, then the prosecution was able to give a second set of closing statements to the jury!! Is this legal or standard procedures in trials? This seemed distinctly unfair and gave the prosecution both the first and last statement advantages. Thank you
