Disputed charges from attorney

Georgia
Divorce attorney is charging me for balance she says is due from divorce case. I had never used an attorney before so I was not aware of all the "customary" charges ... every phone call, every fax, EVERYTHING! I was under the assumption that I would be notified when my retainer fee ran out. Part of the contract states that I was to receive a monthly invoice (maybe so I could monitor my charges!). Anyhow, I never got an invoice ... until the end. Their excuse "we were to busy". (I have this excuse in writing via email.)
She also charged me $250 for a Quit Claim Deed that I prepared and filed myself. When I disputed that; she argued that she still prepared one - I have to pay her for preparation. (She did prepare one, but not for my property. It didn't even have the correct legal description.) Now she's charging interest; another agreement in her contract.
On another note, she signed the contract & mailed to me. I forgot to actually sign and send back to her.
Do I have a chance at fighting any of these charges?
Can I charge her a fee for additional time she was forcing me to wait after mediation? (Basically the County Clerk's office had to tell her to send my paperwork in - she was making me wait an additional 30 days after mediation - this was a contested divorce - my original 30 day waiting period was well passed. She was just waiting to see what my ex was going to stir up next so she could trump up more charges.)
Thank you! What is the name of your state?

Does the agreement you signed mention anything about what will happen if the bill is not paid?

You were certainly treated shabbily. Just ignore the bill. AND file a complaint against her with the Georgia State Bar.

She stated it would accrue interest & further action would be taken for garnishment if not paid. I started paying $20 a month to avoid, but I have received ppwk from GA Bar to file a fee dispute and ethical complaint against her - I won't send anymore payments until they tell me I have to.
Thank you!
