dividedWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ms i just found out that the lawyer that i have been talking to with the firm i hired has just left to start his on firm.i do not know who i should go with i have talked to only him but the other lawyer has been calling me.they each say i can go with the other if i like.will i have to pay both if i go with the other since they were partners in the firm.it is an accident case that has just been filed in court. |

| You choose one attorney or the other. They will decide between themselves how they will work out the division of the attorney fees you pay (if you receive a recovery in your case - I assume you have a contingent fee agreement). You should not be required to pay any addtional attorney fees no matter which of them you select to be your lawyer. You might want to meet with each of them and talk about your case and your fee agreement n order to help make sure you understand everything and help you make your decision. |
