What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TN

I hired an attorney to file for divorce in February, however, my husband caught wind of this and filed two weeks after I hired my attorney. My atty didn't want to file right off the bat for no real reason. Then my atty didn't want to file an answer/counter-claim because he kept saying my husband's atty was reasonble and wants to discuss a settlement, but they never did... Fast forward to 2.5 months later and not a thing had been done on my case except for motions to make me pay more household bills, which my atty agreed to without my consent or knowledge. I dismissed that atty and immediately hired another one, who the very next day filed an answer and counter-claim. And has now sent interrogatories (I've only had her for 3 weeks). In the meantime, I got a bill from first atty in the amount of $6000, with the majority of the charges being for emails to and from me, with me asking what's going on with my case... Two things, what should I do about the bill and what will become of it and do I have any action remedies against him for basically doing nothing? I did pay him a retainer and a filing fee... The 6K is evidently above and beyond my retainer. Thanks!
