docket control orderWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX When a date is set for trial, called a docket control order, can it be removed (because the case was settled) by only one of the attorneys in a suit? Are the other attorneys notified by the court of this change? For example, say the lawyer for the plaintiff informs the trial coordinator that the case is settled and should be removed from the docket. Who informs the other lawyers, for the defendants, that this has taken place? In this instance, the case was not settled by all parties. Who sets the date for a new trail conference after the trial date was removed? |
