Should a doctor be held accountable?
If a doctor treats a patients for a year and a half with narcotics even though it becomes obvious that the patient may not be taking them only as prescribed then one day the doctor tells the patient that she can no longer be her doctor, does the doctor have any obligation to at least offer help for the patient to detox from the narcotics?
