Executor EthicsWhat is the name of your state? Delaware All, This is somewhat long story, which I will pickup later, but I want to get a read on the basic ethics. An estate is represented by an lawyer which is also named in the will. The lawyer is has no family relation. Also named are several members of the lawyers family. Relegated to a very minor inheritence is the deceased only daughter. The lawyers and his family takes most of the estate. Important point, the will was changed several months before the death, when most of the assets were assigned to the lawyer and family. Cause of death, brain cancer. Is there an ethical issue with this or am I missing something ? |
