Generally, I'm right on top of the "US Law Only!" response...but this OP has their state right in their user-id ;)

How do you find out what an attorny's rating is? How do you know he/she is any good?
To address your question with a useful answer, you might want to check out ******dale.com (these are peer ratings and a good start) , interview a couple of lawyers and perhaps ask for references from them.

If you've used a lawyer in the past and had a good experience, you might want to ask them for a referral.
