Finding out if a lawyer has malpractice insuranceWhat is the name of your state? NY Hi all, Question: my family was recently involved in a case and hurt badly by our lawyer's horrible performance. We would like to sue the lawyer for malpractice because of several serious mistakes he made, but don't want to waste our time if he does not have insurance. Is there any way to find out if he is insured? I have thought of calling him myself and pretending to be a salesman to see what his response is (e.g. "I'm already insured"). Thanks! |

| Of course there is. Call him and ask. If he refuses to answer, then AFTER you have filed a lawsuit, subpoena his insurance information and policy.
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

ughabughaOr you can do rock-scissors-paper with the attorney , but suggest what JETX suggests. Just a suggestion. |
