I am wanting to pursue a law degree but currently I don't have the luxury of quitting my job and going full time to law school. My only option is to obtain it via an online degree. I was looking at William Howard Taft University, which is a Non-ABA-Approved Law School according to www.lsat.com, but it also states that I would be eligible to sit for the California bar upon completion.

My question is, can I obtain a degree through William Howard Taft University and still be able to practice law in Illinois? If the Illinois bar doesn't recognize the online degree would passing the bar in California have any impact in IL.

Thanks for any info.
