SORRY ITS SO LONG PLEASE READ...

Ok here is the short story. almost 2 years ago my husband and I signed a contract with a woman who says she was a god fearing woman has a disabled husband, blah blah, who was going to breed our dog and pay us the price of two puppies for her at $1500/each. Our dog had 8 puppies one died from her neglect. After 3 months and the puppies were selling we asked for our money she kept saying she would get us a check, after hearing this answer for several months we got irritated and asked for all the papers on the puppies receipts of sale ects. This was in our contract that we are entitled to all transaction papers/vet papers all of it. She then says she is keeping the money from the puppies, we cannot see sophie, and that she is keeping all the documents.
We sued her...
Now is the crap part
We serve her the papers to have her appear in court, she doesnt show we tell our story and get the judgement.
NEXT we serve her with the Interogitories. Which we have a friend thats a investigator for a lawyer, he got some info on her and he knows she lied on the interogitories and she only wrote down assetts that of course we cannot repo.
She hasnt filed taxes in four years and listed on the interogitories that she got a 2000.00 refund check.
We then serve her AGAIN with the contempt citation. After this was done we tried to get the earliest court date but the soonest was a month and a half away. My husband and I needed to move to Vegas for our jobs we put it off as long as we could.
A week ago we sent in a fax saying we couldnt afford to fly there and have her not show up again and asked for our friend to stand in. We also filled out a power of attorney.
The court date was this morning, and the judge completely screwed us.
He didnt allow our friend to stand in, Kandace DIDN'T SHOW UP, and the judge CANCELLED the citation. we have no clue what to do this is bullcrap, we have done everything we are suppose to and she doesnt show up for anything and NOTHING is happening to her. she was suppose to have a warrent out for her if she didnt show up to this court date, she FAILED TO APPEAR nothing is happening there, THIS IS NOT JUSTICE I feel like we are the ones doing all the work and are being punished, what are my options?? we just want the 3000.00 thats owed to us!! please please help me any way you can.What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state?

After reading all that, I would have to assume your friend hopes that what gos to Vegas stays in Vegas.

what is with you people if your not going to give LEGAL ADVICE DONT POST A REPLY it's very rude when people have REAL problems and are stressed out and to add on top of that its hard to find anyone that knows anything about the legal system, so if you not going to give heartfelt advice SHUT THE HELL UP
