I want to join the NY Bar. Guidance please.

What is the name of your state? NY

Hi.

I passed the NY Bar and MPRE. I submitted my application and a gentleman from the First Department called me and informed me that I had "not been certified" by the state.

I have no idea what this means or how I obtain such a certification.

I thought the hard part of the process would be passing the Bar, but now I am just plain confused!
