What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Massachusetts

The lawyer who created the revocable trust for my father borrowed money from my father to purchase a car.
Supposedly the lawyer told my dad he couldn't do this but my dad insisted.

Seems like this would cross every line in the attorney/client relationship.

Am I overreacting?

This is a matter between your dad and the attorney. It's none of your business to react in any way.

It is hard to say whether you are overreacting or not. It certainly sounds questionable on the part of the attorney, though.
