lawyer error

What is the name of your state? ky

In June my X and I went to court to modify our parenting agreement. At that time - outside the court room they presented a document describing the outline of summer visitation days and times. My lawyer and I had no idea they were asking for this.

We asked for several changes.

They then faxed the revised copy to my lawyer and she approved it and it was entered into court.

Here is the problem.

I NEVER saw the revised copy. I never consented to it. I was not advised that it had been entered into the court.

When my X showed up with the police to get the girls - I kept arguing that the document was not valid and they arrested on 2 counts of felony custodial interference. My X has a habit of making up his own visitation rules - which is why I objected in the first place.

Now - it was all dismissed. But I have never had more than a speeding ticket on my record.

My lawyer really screwed me. Can I sue her? I did fire her.
