Lawyer Prepared Documents

My lawyer has refused to give me copies of anything he sends out in my behalf regarding my workers comp claim. Is this normal practice? My gut feeling is to terminate the relationship.

Your lawyer owes you civil duty to show any information he sends on your behalf. The fact is he may be sending non essential information and charging you for his time/firms time as well.

I suggest you meet with him personnally and inform him you have a right to view any information sent out on your cause of justice and if he cannot ethically represent you then you have a right to ask him for your full file to include those statements/letters of representation just encase you have to seek another attorney for your behalf they will not enter into the game blind.

You paid for it!!! he owes you it!!!
