WE HIRED A LAWYER IN FL A YEAR AGO. HE SEEMED OK AT FIRST. BUT HE HAS NOT CALLED US BACK TO LET US KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON FOR THE LAST 8 MOS. WE LEAVE A VOICE MAL AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK BEGGING HIM TO PLEASE CALL AND STILL NO REPLY. WHAT CAN WE DO?

You can fire him. You can ask him to withdraw. You can request your money back except that which he has already earned on the case. You can file a complaint with the bar association.
