I hired a lawyer to handle mine and my childrens personal injury claim. The contract read that 33 1/3% w/no court filings and 40% w/court filings. When it came down to settleling the case the breakdown noted that they had to file court papers. When I requested my file there were no court papers in the file and the lawyers charged 40% and then gave me a reduction off the 40% and still charged me for the court filing. What should I do? Who should this complaint go to?
