legal malpractice?

What is the name of your state? wv

i went to see a lawyer 6 months ago about a workers compensation problem. she assured me that she would be able to help. i have contacted workers comp and they have no record of her being my lawyer. she still doesnt have my comp records which she has to have to begin working on my case. i requested my records myself and received them within 4 days. i have tried to contact her many times via phone and email. she has not responded to either. would this be considered legal malpractice?

"would this be considered legal malpractice?"

I do not know...your facts are insufficient to say one way or the other.

What IS important is that you get your file from this lawyer and go to another one. The clock is ticking on your claim.
