What is the name of your state? MA. I was in an auto accident ,I reluctently agreed to a 50,000.00 settlement since it was close to the 3 year time limit to file. I only agreed after lawyer told me medical lein was 7,000,it was actually 24,000,.I found this out after I signed settlement agreement, lawyer knew amount and lied,so he got over 17,000.00 medical lein was 24,000.I was left with approx. 7,000 after other fees, leins ect... legal?

Was this an honest mistake on his part or do you think it's deliberate?

Yes, it's unethical but you can't prove your case since there is nothing in writing that says what he told you.
