poa

i recently employed a lawyer to close a housesale for my ex and i , i gave him poa, told him i was uncoftotable with not having my own lawywer, he refused to deal wih another lawyer, closinghappened angainst my wishes he and my ex sold the house for less, what are my legal avenues where do i start

not much, its not really against your wishes when you sign a poa to him.

Why did he need POA and why did you give it to him? Revoke the POA by sending him a certified letter or he can continue to draw monies from your accounts. Have you been financially damaged/harmed in this deal?

Why couldn't your ex hire an attorney on their own? Whose interest was this attorney supposed to be representing--your side or your ex's side? And was this attorney involved only in the house sale?
