Professional Procedure

What is the name of your state? Louisiana

What is the proper procedure if an attorney of record wishes to drop an established client? Is a formal notification required or does simply not answering client letters/phone calls suffice? Thank you.

Check with the local bar association and/or the local rules of court for withdrawl of counsel.
