What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois; Hi there, I have given a lawyer a retainer fee but am not satified with the service that I am being given. I am therefore, going to terminate service with lawyer one and then hire lawyer two. I know that I will probably lose the retainer fee but this is OK with me. Are there any things holding me back from going to lawyer two? I understand that lawyer one and I made a contract via the retainer fee but again I wish to terminate.

Thanks,

Zochini
