What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia
I hired an attorney for a civil case 4 weeks ago. This particular attorney did my mediation for my divorce 6 years ago. 3 hours before the hearing he called and asked me if he did my mediation and I said yes. he told me he had to withdraw from the case due to a code of ethics. Is he liable to return my retainer since he withdrew 3 hours before my hearing?
