Is this right?

What is the name of your state? Texas

To make a long story short, my little brother was held in contempt of court and sentenced to 5 months in jail with no bond serving a day for day sentence. Is that a just punishment for contempt of court? He became emotional in a case concerning child abuse allegations against the mother of his children and blurted out " Let her go so that she can be with her kids" and left out of the court room. Afterwards the bailiff came outside and told him that if he were to have another outburst he would be held in contempt so he needed to come back in and sit quietly or leave the trial. So he left. The judge then had him called back to talk to him. But when he returned the judge sat him down not telling him what he was there for. The trial then proceeded as well as another trial taking place. Then the jury came back with the verdict and gave the girl 10 years probation instead of the life sentence that the state was seeking. Afterwards the judge called him up and said that he was being charged with contempt of court because his outburst was an attempt to sway the jury. But, is it legal to do that? Can he wait until after the verdict to charge him? He also appointed the lawyer representing the kids as my brothers legal representation instead of allowing him to get a lawyer. The lawyer protested stating conflict of interest and then told my brother that the judge was mad at him so he would not argue his case so that the judge would not be mad at him like he was my brother. What can be done to get my brother out of jail and get him some legal recourse?

He needs to get a local attorney to review the FULL facts of this matter.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
