Securities Arbitration Representation

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

I was contacted by a non-legal firm that represents clients in securities arbitration. Is this permissible or is it practicing law?

Impossible to determine based on this limited description. Whether or not the first is engaging in a UPL depends on the services they are rendering and the credentials of the professionals.
