What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

Is it ethical for the prosector to speak to you alone offering a plea when you informed him you have an attorney?

Is it ethical for your attorney whom has never spoke with you before,on trial day pull you into a room with the prosecutor and a police detective and drill you in front of them about a case that is not the subjuct of the case he is defending you on or of the same court. Then agree with the prosecutor that if you do everything an agency in another case wants that this one will go away.

The charge the attoney defending was simple assult not related to the other case in family court. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

When you were spoken to by the prosecutor alone, you could have mentioned that you didn't want to say anything further until your attorney was in the room.

You could have mentioned that you would not be agreeing to anything unless it is in writing.

It is not necessarily unethical but just reality of life.
