Very Generic Questions about LA CourtsWhat is the name of your state? California This is for research. I appologise if it should happen to fall outside of the board's raison d'etre. I would need to know if a judge commenting over a defendants exemplary good behavior in court would be considered bias or unnaceptable. Or if it's borderline tolerable or if it's fine. I'd also need to know if cases being held in court are writen on electronic billboards or any kind of billboard outside of the courtroom. I'd also like to know if any lawyer would be available to answer a few more overall specific questions about the profession in Los Angeles in particular or a short interview. Thank you. |

| No, it wouldn't. No, we don't do research.

| Q: I would need to know if a judge commenting over a defendants exemplary good behavior in court would be considered bias or unnaceptable. Or if it's borderline tolerable or if it's fine. A: Bias against whom? I can't imagine a situation where a judge compliments someone on good manners would be wrong. Q: I'd also need to know if cases being held in court are writen on electronic billboards or any kind of billboard outside of the courtroom. A: Some courts will hang docket sheets outside the courtroom; some courts have websites with cases listed. Q: I'd also like to know if any lawyer would be available to answer a few more overall specific questions about the profession in Los Angeles in particular or a short interview. A: I have only been to Los Angeles once and I learned my lesson: it is no place for a hillbilly judge!
