What is the name of your state? WI

Rather simple question, at my court date on the 29th of Aug the Judge still had to review the transcripts from the previous court date, so he could not make a decision on that day, he said he would give us his decision by the end of the week. He did so on that Friday. I heard the reading of the decision via phone, because of personal obligations (non emergency) my attorney was unable to hear the reading of the decision either in person or by phone. When I told him what the decision was he was appalled, he said there may be serious grounds for an appeal. I tried to relay everything I had heard to him, but in the end he said he would need the transcripts in order to advise me on an appeal.

Who should be responsible for paying for these transcripts, him or me?

I had to get transcripts a few months ago.
When I filled out the forms for transcripts, I had the option of choosing which portions.
If you only need the transcript of the decision, it may cost alot less.
Not sure for your courts though.
