Traded in my honda civic si at honda world. (A honda dealership). Signed all the papers. Got a letter in the mail stating they would take the truck back. Drove down to the dealer and spoke with finance. They said they loweres the price on the truck which inturn lowered my monthly payments, BUT wArranty was no longer included. Signed the "new" contract. One week later (40 day time-span) the truck started miss-firing and check engine light came on. Had to tow from disneyland (anahem ca) to (los angeles ca). Took it to a ford mechanic and the mechanic stated "5.4 is the worst engine you can get due to design flaw. Oil will not reach the head of the engine causing missfire. Broken spark plugs. Broken cam phasers, broken camshaft bearing, timing belt." The list goes on. And he showed me numerous accounts of the same incident happening to people all over with the same exact engine size as mine with less miles! My truck jas 84,000 miles. Other incidents have reported as early as 13,000 miles or less. I know i signed the new contract but is there something i can do to trade for lets say another used car from them or possible a new car? Or am i just "SOL" excuse my french. Thank you for your time. And i haven't made my first payment yet. It is due 2 weeks from now. Thanks again
