Question

Any Suggestions????

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?Wisconsin

My boyfriend just purchased a used car in Illinois--a 1995 Ford Aspire. During the initial test drive and "once over" of the engine, everything appeared normal. However, a day later, after the purchase, things are terrible. To list a few things, the spark plugs are frozen in, a white smoke is blowing out the exhaust, there was no oil or radiator fluid in it, and the car lot refuses to give any money back or help with the repairs. Are there any laws that may help out? From the way I understand, the lemon laws only apply to new cars, but there wasn't even an "as is" posting on it. Have any advice to two very frustrated buyers???

Next time check a car out completely, or have a trusted mechanic do it, prior to purchasing.
