Bought Used Car As Is

Hi I am from Michigan.I Bought a car As Is..I drove not even 10 miles after I signed loan agreement,check engine light came on &stayed on.I took it right Back&Told salesmanI bought from.
It turns out thet it is egr valve.$270 installed,Saleman refuses to
Pay for it.Is there no law at all to help me?I hadnt even drove it 10 miles!! PLease Help Anyone with advice?
