Go to the courthouse and do a search for the Defendant's name. You should then find the pleadings file, which will list the name of the Plaintiff(s)' attorney.
By all means go to the courthouse. And then the next one and the next one until you've exhausted all counties in every state in the U.S.

And then you'll realize that maybe you should have asked the right question before wasting your time on advice from someone who gets their answers from the medical journal.

IF there is or was a class action against a car dealership the most likely place this originated was with your state's attorney general. You can go to http://www.oag.state.va.us/ and on the menu to the right are listings for Consumer Assistance and Cases of Interest.

You can also contact them by e-mail and ask if any AG action has been initiated against the dealership.

OR, you can go to every courthouse in every county in Virginia (oh, and don't forget the District of Columbia and Maryland, depending on where you purchased the car and where the dealership is located) and play Russian Roulette.

HG obviously is well underqualified to handle your question. She's just another shwag attorney playing smart on the Internet.

Go to the courthouse and do a search for the Defendant's name. You should then find the pleadings file, which will list the name of the Plaintiff(s)' attorney.

Realize, however, that if there's a class action, and you meet the class qualifications (e.g. a person who bought a 1976 Gremlin from X Car Dealership), you're automatically included. You don't need to do anything other than make certain that you're included in any division of judgment.
**A: what a lamesh*t response. And if the class action was filed in another state such as Alaska and certified, would the VA courthouse contain the Defendant's name?
