Court Date this month

What is the name of your state? Md

Hi I am going to court later on this month to sue a dealership and inspection station for false information and lies. I have most of my info all laid out and ready. I am just wondering what is the best way to present the case to the judge. I have never been to court and I dont really know how to word anything. If someone could tgive some advice or websites which have advice it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

You don't describe the reasons except lies and inspection.

The word deception and illegal inspection(if true) sounds better.

Small claims courts are informal . You need to stick to the facts , be confident , and if the judge ask questions be short and to the point with facts .

Leave the Emotions out of it. The judge will decide on the facts and Law .

Keep eye contact with the judge. Be confident , loud enough to be heard but no overly loud . Do not interupt the Judge or other party. The judge will allow you to respond in your turn to speak.

Reveiw your testimony in your mind . You will remember what needs to be said more easily .

You could always ask to sit in on small claims before your dt. to see how they go.

Don't sweat it !!
