Dead 99 Honda PassportWhat is the name of your state? Ohio In April of 1999 I bought a new Honda Passport. I did not have any problems with it until 2003 when it started falling apart. First the brakes went completely out, the gas gauge started fluxuating very badly, then on Dec 31, 2003, I threw a rod in the engine due to Oil problems (48,000 miles). Here is a link to the car review where people state thier problems with this car http://www.carreview.com/SUV/Honda/PRD_90_1524crx.aspx I have researched on the internet and found atleast 15 cases of people having the same problems with this exact model of car. I realize that the "Lemon Law" has reached its statute of limitations for me but I am just curious if I can get in restitution from Honda for my problems. Right now it is sitting at home, dead. I know I cant get anything if I sell it or trade it and I dont want to waste money fixing it. |

| Of course you realized when you bought your POS that it is actually a rebadged Isuzu Trooper, a pile of crap if there ever was one, and not a vehicle built by Honda. Some Honda dealers have been very generous in what they give for trade ins on old Passports because they know all about them. Other than that, you really have no options.
