What is the name of your state? Eugene, Oregon 97402

hello,

10 days ago my husband "bought" a truck, gave the dealer his truck and $3000 in cash as down-payment. Signed a million confusing papers, then was given the keys and told, we'll call you when the loan is approved. This seemed odd but we are new to this (always paid cash, never established credit).

The bank turned down the loan. The problem is, the dealership will not admit it's over, instead say "we have other cars" or "try this other bank but say you are more employed than you are" etc.

Our fear is that they are stalling for some reason, perhaps to suggest we are still obligated to them. They had made it clear in the beginning that if we backed out of the deal, we would lose both vehicles and our money. At the time we did not comprehend this kind of twist, and dont know what our rights are...yikes!

sincerely, lori adams eugene oregon
