lemon law

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? georgia
I bought a car 9 days ago in Atlanta Ga. and on the way home to texas the check engine light came on, when i took it to a service center they found several things wrong including the transmission. My extended warranty company is saying the problems were pre-existing and will not cover the repairs which are around $4,500 and the service center is saying the car will not pass inspection in Texas. Do i have any recourse?
