What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? i live in iowa but i got the car from ill. when do i have to make my first payment if the heat did not work when i got the van and they put in writing they would fixes it to get me to take the van and its been almost 2 weeks now.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

You must make the payment when it is due. Because something is wrong with the vehicle is not just cause to not make the payment on time. What did the dealer say when you asked when the heater was going to be fixed?
