Purchased truck over a year ago kept it a month and let it repo to buy here pay here

i bought a truck from a buy here pay here lot over a year ago kept it about 2 months and it blew up. I let it go back as a repo.. I just went to the court house today to transfer something out of my name and was told that truck is still in my name. Haven't had or seen this truck in over a year. What do I need to do? Is the truck still legally mine? How do I go about this?
