Signed contract as a minor

Florida- We bought a car from a used dealer as is. It wasnt perfect but it seemed to be better than the last car id bought. At the time of the sale I was 17 and at the initial shopping for the car we had decided that my mom would be the one to so-own it with me. However on the day we went to pick up the car she wasnt with me. So i signed all the papers and they told us that they would call us within a week so we could pick up the part that they were supposed to have made fir the car and that my mom needed to sign the papers within 30 days. Well they never called with the part and Mom never signed the paperwork. Now that we have had it for 4 months and I am now 18 we have been told by three separate mechanics that the electrical problems in the car are so extensive that it isnt safe to drive and not worth fixing. We bought the car as-is so obviously the dealer won't help us. But what about the paperwork discrepency? Since I was 17 and my mom didnt sign the contract is it really binding? What are my options here?

Your best option here would be to grow up and not look for loop holes to rip someone else off. If you want to fight it, you might have a case, but be prepared to spend time and money to do so.
