Traded Cars Have not swapped titles

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana

I traded a car with a man. He said the car was perfect, nothing wrong with it. We had not traded titles yet. I get the car home and find it requires a lot of work that he HAD to have known it needed. can i cancel this trade since we have not yet signed or traded titles and he specifically lied to me about the cars condition?

You can certainly make that argument. It might end up in court.
