unknown Purchase of wrecked auto

What is the name of your state?North Carolina

I purchased a 2000 model Oldsmobile Alero in 2000. Since it was a program car I asked if it had been wrecked and was told "no". A few weeks after buying the automobile I received a notice from the dealer that stated the car had not been in a wreck totaling more than 25% of it's value in damage and had not been in a flood. About a year later I began having problems with it and took it to the local Olds dealer for servicing. I was told it had been in a real bad wreck. Also, the 6 cylander I bought turned out to be a 4 cylander. I know the statute of limitation is probably over, but could I have done anything about this? Thank you.

Are you saying that you don't know the difference between a V-6 engine and a 4 cylinder engine?
