Used Car Lemon? iowa

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Iowa. I purchased a car 3 days ago. The dealer Stated This is a quality, good running car. Then he proceeded to tell me the repairs they had made. I took the car to the shop today for an inspection, and the repair costs exceed the amount i paid for the car. I called the dealer and told him the issue. His comment was.... "iowa has no lemon law, and that i have no legal recourse. Is that true, or can i get my money back?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Unless the dealer significantly misrepresented the vehicle, he answered your question.

You also have to remember, the repair shop only makes money by repairing cars, not by saying the vehicle is in good shape.
