| "I was always told that if you bought a used vehicle from a private owner it had to be inspected if it was sold for more than a $1000.00. Is that a true statement and what law is it? Thanks for your help."
*** There is no generic legal requirement for this required inspection and each buyer is obligated to perform their own inspection, or not. This would be a part of 'due diligence' and also "Caveat Emptor" (buyer beware).
And though this provision could be a part of your states 'consumer protection' policies, it does not appear to be required from the information at the following:

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
