We bought a used old car from a private party and in 2 days we found that it has problem with the head and we need to replace the head.
We asked the seller to give us compensation but he refused can we take any action against such seller. We think he knew it has head problem. We feel cheated. Please let us know.We have not transferred the title yet.

Used vehicles are sold "as-is" for the most part. Did you have a mechanic inspect the vehicle before purchase?

Private party sales in Washington when it comes to used vehicles, especially older vehicles, are considered as-is. It was up to you to have the vehicle checked out prior to purchase, not after. Better get that title transferred soon too.
